CTF Consoles, the Middle East’s only dedicated control room console manufacturer, has launched the Huddle Table, a compact collaboration table engineered to the same standards as its operator consoles.
The launch responds to a shift in how control rooms are used. As operations become more integrated, decisions increasingly involve several people rather than a single operator at a single desk. Control room design has been slow to provide anywhere for those conversations to happen. Collaboration space is typically the last element specified in a fit out, leaving teams to book a meeting room or crowd around an operator’s console.
“Collaboration space is the last thing specified in a control room fit out and the first thing users raise six months later,” said Geoff Warr, CEO of CTF Consoles. “We see it on almost every project. People end up standing around an operator’s console because there’s nowhere else to go. The odd part is that the console they’re crowded around is engineered to an ISO standard, and the table they wish they had isn’t held to any standard at all. We didn’t see a reason for that gap to exist.”
Seating 5 people in a compact footprint, the Huddle Table features purpose built mounting for a display of up to 60 inches, supporting presentations and video conferencing directly at the table, along with mounting provisions for cameras, speakers, microphones and accessories. Built in cable management conceals power and data routing. Integrated LED lighting is available in RGB or single colour, customisable to a client’s brand along with their logo.
Engineered to control room standards
The Huddle Table is designed in compliance with ISO 11064-4 for ergonomic comfort, safety and efficiency. Construction is powder coated mild steel with an HPL or Corian top, available in multiple RAL frame finishes and tabletop options.
CTF’s high pressure laminate tabletops are tested to [ISO 22196 / STANDARD] for antibacterial activity, achieve fire performance to [EN 13501-1 / BS 476 / STANDARD], and are GREENGUARD Gold certified for low chemical emissions.
The product carries CTF’s standard warranty: 10 years on all metal parts, 5 years on HPL tabletops and 2 years on electronic components, supported by next day onsite rectification for UAE based projects and phone support as required.

The Huddle Table is available now with a 4 week lead time and ships globally. Like all CTF products, it is designed and manufactured at the company’s facilities in Dubai Investment Park.
