More than 200 partners from all over the world, including Iran, Australia and the US, attended Uniview’s first global partner summit during the CPSE Security Show in Shenzhen last month.

The Chinese security company is now embarking on an international expansion plan that will include the Middle East with a fresh focus on AI technology.  

Hermit Zhang, CEO of Uniview said in his opening speech. “It’s been 12 years since Uniview started video surveillance business in 2005. And the global video surveillance trend has changed a lot. But one thing that hasn’t change is our commitment to our partner and our ability to do amazing things together.” Uniview keeps its pioneer position among global video surveillance manufacturers for reasons. The company has been expanding the international side of their business over the last three years which has seen a compound annual growth rate of more than 100%. They are now active in more than 120 countries.

 Ximen Yan, president of Uniview International Business Department, said the company will be investing heavily in AI over the next ten years. “ We started to invest in AI technology research three years ago. A professional algorithm team built by more than 100 engineers is now ready and our customers will be ale to benefit from our rich experience in the Chinese high-end market. Uniview is now able to transfer this mature solution to international market.
