Doha to welcome the world of homeland security at Milipol this October

The 12th edition of Milipol Qatar will for the first time include live demonstrations where visitors, VIPs, official delegations and buyers can witness new products and innovations in action.

Held under the patronage of H.H the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the show takes place from 29-31 October at Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC).

“Milipol Qatar has evolved into a truly global exhibition and conference bringing together the leading figures and brightest minds in homeland security & Civil Defence together under one roof. The show is a rare platform for companies around the world that specialize in the sector to showcase how they can help share the future of homeland security & Civil Defence while networking with peers. We are honored to have significant support from our international partners and we look forward to welcoming many more for the exhibition in October,” said Muriel Kafantaris, director of Milipol Exhibitions.

The event will also incorporate a Civil Defence Exhibition & Conference that will bring together key global civil defence players, for a range of focused conference sessions and agenda-setting panel discussions on the latest and emerging civil defence trends and best practices.

The exhibition is open from 9.30am – 5.00pm on Monday, 29 and Tuesday, 30 October, and from 9.30am – 4pm on Wednesday, 31 October.

We have an interview with show director Muriel Katantaris coming up in the next issue of the SME.
